Using Sun Dried Tomatoes

Conti sun dried tomatoes and cherry tomatoes are flavorful natural products produced by sunshine and a little salt. There are no other ingredients or preservatives added.

When using the San Marzano sun dried tomatoes, carefully wash them in hot water before using them. This process will revive the tenderness of the tomatoes as well as cleaning them. They are delicious in any recipe that calls for sun dried tomatoes.

Our sun dried cherry tomatoes are vacuum packed and still moist. They have the salty taste that Tuscans like. We suggest soaking and washing the tomatoes in water several times to reduce the saltiness to your taste. As well as being a delicious ingredient to sauces, these tomatoes are great on pizza or crostini. Refrigerate the package once it is opened.
